Young Adult's Fellowship (YAF)
"And I told them of the hand of my God, which was good upon me, as also, the King's words that he had spoken unto me. And they said let us rise and build. So they strengthened their hands for the good work." — Nehemiah 2:18
Since our Christ Congregation Young Adult Fellowship (YAF) started in December 2012, there has been enormous progress.
YAF started with 20 members, comprising 4 male and 16 female and we can now boast of about 35 people. We have 6 executive officers that lead our activities.
The executives meet on the 2nd Sunday of every month to discuss pending issues before it gets to the general members. YAF's main aim of meetings includes general discussion, bible study, learning songs, prayers, etc.
📅 Meeting: Every 4th Sunday of every month
Achievements: A member of YAF has been made a Presbyter of the church. We also have an usher among us now. It is our prayer that anyone who is at the age of 30 to 40 will join us.
Children Service
The curriculum we follow is based on stories from the Bible. Every Sunday service we learn collectively before the main service. The remaining time is used for Bible lessons, Bible quotations recitals are also given as assignment.
Sunday School participated in all activities in the church throughout the year. Our play about the birth of Christ and the appellations of Jesus Christ during last year's carol service was amazing.
Welcoming our Reverend Edith Adobea Addo Yobo after her pastoral course and during her induction and thanksgiving service was another major event in the year which the Sunday School was actively involved.
Entertainment: Celebration of birthdays in class is one source of entertainment. Almost every Sunday there is a birthday celebration which stimulates children to come to Church regularly. Our Christmas outing to McDonald's made the children happier than ever.
Service Groups

Church Choir
"Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises." — Psalm 47:6
We aim at raising the standard of singing in Christ Congregation and foster greater interest and energy in church worship to win more souls for Christ.
The choir has 15 active members of which 12 are female and 3 male.
The choir meets twice in the month on every second and third Saturday in the church premises between 2 and 4 pm. Our choir practice is mainly for hymn rehearsals, learning of new songs and brief Bible studies and prayer.
Major Event: The major event for this year was the choir day celebration that took place in May. The programme under the theme 'Sing praises to God' went on extremely well. It drew more souls closer to the Lord.
Singing Band
"Bless the Lord, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless the Lord. O my soul." — Psalm 103:22
The aim of the group is to sing to the glory of God and the message in our songs brings joy, hope and encouragement to the entire congregation in their journey with Lord.
The numerical strength of the group is currently 16, consisting of 14 females and 2 males.
The group meets on the last Saturday of every month between the hours of 4:00pm–6:00pm. The main activities of the group are learning and rehearsing of songs, praying for congregation and the group and encouraging one another in the faith.
Women's Fellowship
The year begun with 21 members, but with the Grace of God we have 3 new members who are yet to be officially accepted into the Fellowship.
The group meets every second Saturday of the month, from 4pm–6pm. Activities include prayer sessions, bible studies and learning of songs.
The group was inaugurated into the District in July, 2014. It was a joyous occasion and notable landmark for the group.
Future Plans: We plan to increase our meeting hours in order to complete our plan of work. It is our hope that we visit non-active members to ensure church growth. Also, we plan on arranging open forums and medical personnel health talks.
We are grateful to the Lord almighty for how far He has brought us. Let us continue to let our light shine before men, so that they may see our good works and glorify our father in heaven.
Men's Fellowship
The men's fellowship normally meets on every first Sunday of the month from 1pm to 3pm before church service but met more frequently toward the end of the year as the group is working towards the group's inauguration.
The group has been fortunate this year to have a visiting member from Ghana who has been teaching them new songs. The group was inaugurated on 6 March 2016.

Bible Study & Prayer Group
"Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God." — Philippians 4:6
The group having finished studying the whole of the Acts of the Apostles, has started studying 1 Corinthians.
The Dagenham home group is well established and doing well. The second home group has just started and it is for members living nearer to the church.
We have started having prayer sessions whenever possible before Church service on Sundays.
